FAQ
Project questions.
Designing a kitchen or interior requires clarity, coordination, and informed decisions. This page addresses common questions regarding investment, timelines, manufacturing, customization, and consultation. At Bauhome, structured planning and transparent communication are fundamental to how we work.
-
Most full Bauhome kitchen projects begin around $50,000, with larger remodels, new construction, or more complex installations typically ranging from $80,000 to $150,000+. Final investment is shaped by layout complexity, material selection, German-engineered cabinetry systems, appliance integration, site conditions, and overall project scope.
For ultra-luxury kitchens or broader interior scopes, project investment may extend beyond $200,000. Budget and scope are reviewed early so expectations are aligned before design development begins.

Standard production and delivery
German-manufactured kitchens generally arrive in Los Angeles within 8–12 weeks from final approval. This includes production and standard international delivery.Expedited delivery
For qualifying projects, expedited air freight may be available at an additional cost. Once the order is approved, delivery to Los Angeles may be reduced to approximately 2–4 weeks, subject to production capacity, project specifications, and freight availability.Installation timeline
Installation typically takes approximately 1–2 weeks, depending on site readiness, project complexity, and the overall scope of work. A project-specific installation schedule is established during the planning phase. -
Yes. Bauhome kitchens are manufactured in Germany through established production partners recognized for precision engineering, rigorous quality control, and consistent finish quality.
Each kitchen is produced according to approved project specifications, including dimensions, materials, finishes, storage systems, and integrated details.
-
Yes. Installation and on-site coordination are managed as part of our structured process. Certified installation teams experienced in German-engineered cabinetry systems follow approved technical drawings and project specifications, while our team oversees delivery logistics, scheduling, and on-site execution.
Where specialized trades are required, we collaborate with vetted partners under our coordination to maintain consistent quality, precision, and performance throughout the installation.
-
Yes. Bauhome kitchens, closets, and vanities can be tailored in layout, dimensions, materials, finishes, storage systems, and integrated detailing. We work closely with homeowners, architects, and interior designers to respond to the project’s spatial requirements, design intent, and technical needs.
Each project is configured within the selected German-manufactured system, combining a high degree of customization with factory precision, structural integrity, and consistent quality.
-
Yes. Bauhome provides design development, technical planning, and coordination drawings to help resolve the project before production and installation.
Depending on scope, drawings may identify cabinetry dimensions, appliance integration, service locations, clearances, and relevant electrical, plumbing, or ventilation requirements for coordination with the project’s architect, contractor, and specialized trades.

Bauhome offers a wide range of German-manufactured kitchen systems, with more than 200 finish options available across selected collections. Options may include wood finishes, metal effects, matte and gloss surfaces, textured materials, and other factory-applied finishes developed within each system.
During the planning process, finishes and materials are reviewed according to the project’s design direction, performance requirements, and architectural context.
-
Yes. Bauhome frequently collaborates with architects and interior designers as part of the project team. When a design professional is already involved, we coordinate closely to align cabinetry systems, materials, and manufacturing specifications with the overall architectural intent.
Our role focuses on technical planning, manufacturing coordination, and installation, helping ensure the kitchen or interior system integrates with the broader design and construction process.

Bauhome backs every kitchen cabinet with a lifetime warranty, regardless of the selected line. Warranty terms, coverage details, and applicable conditions are outlined in the project contract, ensuring each client has clear documentation before production begins.
Appliances, countertops, and third-party products are covered by their own manufacturer or brand warranties. For those claims, clients should contact the corresponding company directly. Bauhome can provide guidance when needed for products included in the project scope.
-
The consultation is a focused session designed to understand your space, goals, timeline, investment range, and overall project scope. We discuss layout opportunities, material direction, functional requirements, and any architectural plans, dimensions, or inspiration you would like to share.
The session helps establish initial feasibility, priorities, and the appropriate next step for moving the project into design development.
-
Yes. Bauhome provides post-installation support for kitchens, closets, and vanities to help ensure each system continues to perform as intended. Follow-up reviews can be arranged during the first year to address adjustments, alignments, or system refinements based on the project scope and selected products.
Ongoing service needs are reviewed case by case according to the manufacturing system, materials, and installation requirements.

Bauhome brings design development, German-manufactured cabinetry, technical planning, delivery, and installation together under one coordinated process.
Rather than treating cabinetry as a standalone product, we consider how the system integrates with the architecture, appliances, materials, construction conditions, and everyday use of the space. The result is a more resolved project, with clearer accountability from early planning through final installation.
