PROCESS
A structured process for kitchens and interior systems, from concept to installation.
OUR APPROACH
Every project follows a structured process that brings together design, technical coordination, German manufacturing, and installation. The designer and project manager remain involved at every stage, ensuring clear communication and continuity from the first consultation through final installation.
01.
Discovery & Vision
Every project begins with a design consultation. Whether your project is a renovation or a new build, we take the time to understand your goals, lifestyle, and how you want the space to function. Depending on the project, we review architectural plans or visit the site to assess existing conditions, verify dimensions, and identify opportunities that shape the design. Together, we establish the project’s direction while aligning the scope, investment, and timeline.02.
Schematic Design
During schematic design, we develop the project through floor plans and 3D visualizations, exploring different layout configurations and refining circulation, storage, appliance integration, and spatial relationships. The proposed investment and timeline are reviewed alongside the design to ensure everything remains aligned. By the end of this phase, you’ll have a refined layout and clear design direction, providing the foundation for detailed design development.03.
Design Development
Once the overall direction has been approved, we refine the layout, cabinetry configuration, material and finish selections, and technical details, creating a coordinated design ready for production. Architectural, plumbing, electrical, and ventilation requirements are addressed as needed to ensure the design is technically resolved. Together, we review the final details to confirm the project reflects your vision before moving into production.04.
Production & Coordination
After final approval, the project enters production in Löhne, Germany. Specifications, material and finish selections, and technical details are finalized for manufacturing, ensuring each component is produced to exacting engineering standards. Throughout production, we oversee scheduling, international shipping, delivery coordination, and project communication to keep the process aligned and ensure a seamless transition from manufacturing to installation in your home.05.
Installation & Completion
Once cabinetry has been delivered and the site is ready, the installation phase begins. Installation is coordinated by Bauhome and carried out by certified installers experienced in German-engineered cabinetry systems. The on-site installation typically takes between 1 and 4 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the project. Throughout installation, we remain actively involved and conduct a final walkthrough to confirm the completed work reflects the design intent and project requirements.Coordinated beyond the cabinetry.
A successful project depends on more than exceptional cabinetry. Whether you’re working with an architect, interior designer, or general contractor, Bauhome integrates with your project team. When coordinating the project directly, we coordinate the required trades and technical planning to keep the work aligned with the approved design.
